My Friends big hard Biceps, It is a dream of every other man. The most visible body part which gives a sexy manly look. It is very important to know why do we call it Biceps and then you can choose the correct workout to train it correctly for developing. 

Bicep says  Bi which means two. It means it is made up of two muscle groups Long head and Short head. Now what are these?

(1) Long head=Outer head= Muscle that runs along the outside of your upper arm and simply that is the peak area.


(2)Brachialis=Short head=Inner head= Muscle that runs along the inside of your upper arm.

Bicep peak is genetic. However, something you need to keep in mind is that bicep workouts are not created equal for both of these heads.


 Some bicep workouts are amazing for the long head, while not doing as much for the short head. 

The same is true for workouts that target the short head specifically. If you do not realize this, you can end up with really great looking biceps from one angle, but flat looking biceps from another angle. 

Hope now you will be able to define what workout to choose for which part to train which muscle.
